Next steps

  • Pregnancy Test: Twenty-one days after the procedure, take a pregnancy test to confirm that the procedure was successful.

Discomfort and possible side effects

  • You may experience cramps similar to or stronger than menstrual cramps. Oral pain relievers will be prescribed
  • Possible side effects may occur, such as: dizziness, nausea, vomiting, chills, fever, or diarrhea. These side effects are temporary and depend on your body's response to the medication
